Optimum Power Flow with Respect to the Capacitor Location and Size in Distribution Network

In the past few decades, there has been increasing recognition of importance optimum power flow (OPF) studies in context economic analyses systems. There is a need for system development to maximize efficiency by emphasizing cost and losses smart grids operate effectively current situation. This study aims develop an optimal capacitor bank allocation schedule that minimizes distribution networks under equality constraints. will be achieved integrating loss factor voltage stability into new approach determine where banks should located. It reduce operating costs systems applying optimization model dispatch, which considers distributed generation demand response. The NSGA-II algorithm was used this size location bank. A solves problem minimizing while determining best strategy. We IEEE 26-bus test proposed method with every possible change. Comparing analysis with/without showed operation OPF can improve system.
